Our Companion group consists of mature, professional people, who are committed to assisting in everyday tasks. Whether it's helping around the house or going on an outing, they are there to make your day easier.
Companions are trained in house, and their backgrounds vary person to person. Many of our Companions are retired people, some do this as a career; what they have in common is that they all have a passion for helping others.
Our skilled group consists of caregivers who are trained at and/or experienced in providing care on a more personal level. These caregivers are experienced either in a facility or in the home, and have the knowledge and ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), all the way up to bed-level and end-of-life care. Of course, everyone is different, so we learn the specific preferences and comfort level of each caregiver, so they are placed only in situations where they feel confident in their ability to safely and effectively provide the necessary care.
Caregivers are trained in house, in addition to any relevant previous training they may have.
